General Surgery PA-C
- Start Date: July 2025
- Shifts: 14 shifts every 28 days (24-hour shifts: 12 on-site, 12 on-call)
- Overview:
- Board Certified General Surgery PA-C to round on post-operative patients, handle consults, and assist in surgeries
- Key Points
- Number of Physicians: 2 physicians as of June 2025, 1 eGS acute surgicalist
- Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 2
- General Surgery eGS acute surgicalist as the supervisor
- Exam Rooms per Provider: 2 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms
- Medical Imaging: Yes
- Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
- Mostly all call/trauma/inpatient consult coverage
- Mainly consults, current average hospital census 160 pts/day
- Hub Hospital serves 16 surrounding counties, Population 200,000 +
- EMR: EPIC
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in the OR
- Perform clinical and surgical duties
- Join the trauma and general surgery call
