A recognized New York City healthcare network is currently seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Transplant Surgery team.
Responsibilities:
The Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for:
- Performing history and physical examinations
- Handling comprehensive assessments
- Ordering diagnostic test
- Prescribing pharmacological agents and treatments and non-pharmacological therapies
- Providing educational instruction in collaboration with the multidisciplinary transplant team
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant (PA)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program
- NYS Physician Assistant (PA) license
- NCCPA certified
- Experience in an Inpatient role/setting
