First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is looking to employ two (2) full-time neurologists to join their successful multi-specialty practice in the highly desirable area of Sarasota, Florida. We are located only minutes from the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Lido Key and Anna Maria Island on the West Coast of Florida. Sarasota is located about 45 minutes south of Tampa and 1.5 hours north of Ft. Myers.
Qualifications & Practice Scope
We are seeking a PA-C with 3+ years of Cardiothoracic Surgical-assisting experience, and specifically Endoscopic Vein Harvesting experience, (Maquet Hemopro 1 or 2 experience preferred): Join an experienced team of five PA’s and one ARNP assisting five surgeons. Excellent rotation of 1:7 call schedule. No in-house overnight call.
The selected PA-C will be responsible for providing expert quality comprehensive health assessment, evaluation, planning, and administration of quality patient care under the direction of a physician within the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department. The advanced care practitioner will practice in collaboration with and at the direction of the surgeon(s) during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative experience.
Current NCCPA Certification required and must also have Active or be eligible for licensure by the State of Florida (Department of Health, Medical Quality Assurance section). BLS and ACLS certification preferred, must be obtained on hire. We offer excellent compensation package with relocation, a comprehensive employee benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, CME allowance $2000 / 5 days annually as well as Paid Time Off (PTO), 403(b) employee funded retirement plan, and a 4% employer funded retirement savings plan.
