Locums – Springfield, Oregon NP/PA Vascular Surgery Openings

Start Date: ASAP Job Duration: 6 months Reason for Opening: Gap coverage

Schedule & Call:

• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

• Call requirement: 6 shifts per month

• 10-hour call shifts:

  • 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • 5:00 PM–7:00 AM (beeper)

  • Monday–Friday

• 24-hour call shifts:

  • 7:00 AM–7:00 AM Monday–Friday

  • 24-hour weekend call

• Although these are call shifts, the APP must report at the beginning of the shift when it starts at 7:00 AM for handoff, rounding, etc.

Dates Needed:

• 10/3 & 10/4 – 24-hour shifts

• 10/26 – 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

• 11/25 – 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

• 11/26–11/29 – 24-hour shifts

• 12/24 – 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

• 12/31 – 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

Night Shift Dates Needed:

• October: 10/3, 10/4

• November: 11/5, 11/25, 11/26, 11/27

• December: 12/12, 12/13, 12/16, 12/24, 12/28, 12/31

Practice Details:

• Inpatient and outpatient

• 36 inpatient beds

• Average 15–20 patients per day

• Rounding and admissions required

• EMR: Epic

• Gap coverage

Required Procedures & Responsibilities:

• First assist in the OR

• Assist with in-clinic procedures

• Rounding

• Admissions

• Handoff at the beginning of applicable shifts

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Active OR license

• BLS Certification required

  • Must be from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

• ACLS Certification required

  • Must be from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
