Locums – Billings, Montana, NP/PA Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery Opening

Clinical Role

• ASAP start with ongoing need
• 3-6 month commitment requested
• Long-term bridge coverage for Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery
• Multiple providers may be accepted
• OR first assist, hospital rounding, and clinic coverage as needed
• Clinic is predominantly Vascular Surgery with some Cardiothoracic Surgery follow-up
• Approximately 10 clinic patients per shift

Schedule & Call

• At least 1 weekend of call per month
• Call ratio: 1:5
• Assigned and unassigned patients
• 20-minute call response time required
• Approximately 2 phone consultations while on call
• Approximately 2 patients seen while on call

Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations

• Operating room
• Inpatient rounding
• Outpatient clinic
• Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery patient care
• Level I Trauma Center
• Cerner EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified or Board Eligible required
• Active Montana license required
• Compact license accepted
• BLS required
