We are seeking an experienced Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) with at least 1 year of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery experience for an acute care hospital in Ohio.

Schedule:

Coverage Needed:
August 22 – August 27
August 31 – September 14

Shift Schedule:

Weekdays: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Hourly) | 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Call)
Weekends: 24-hour Call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Ongoing coverage available.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital rounding
  • First assist in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery
  • Elective and emergent surgical cases
  • Clinic assistance
  • Call coverage

EMR : Meditech | eClinicalWorks (eCW)

Compensation

  • Hourly/Callback: $160/hour
  • 24-Hour Call: $1,100 flat
  • Night Call: $350 flat

Requirements

  • Active Ohio PA License
  • NCCPA Board Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Active DEA
  • Minimum 1 year of cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgical experience
  • Clean malpractice history preferred
  • Must be available for the requested coverage dates

Nurse Practitioners will only be considered if they are RNFA-certified with open-heart surgical experience.
