Job description
A high-volume surgical program is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery team. This is a permanent role supporting a busy surgical service line with a strong focus on perioperative care and procedural support.
The position offers exposure to complex cardiothoracic and vascular cases in a collaborative, physician-led environment. The practice is well-structured with a dedicated surgical team and consistent schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Perform inpatient rounding and post-operative care
Conduct surgical consults
Support emergency department coverage as needed
Manage outpatient clinic (1 day/week), including post-op visits (15–20 patients/day)
Qualifications
Experience or strong interest in cardiovascular/thoracic surgery
Board eligibility acceptable
Strong clinical and procedural skills preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
