Position Type: Locum, 4-month assignment (end of January start)
Schedule: On-call 7 days straight, then 7 days off, includes holidays
Responsibilities:
Assist with CABG, MVR, AVR, dissections, elective thoracic and fistula procedures
Manage 2–4 inpatients/day in a high-acuity surgical environment
Collaborate with a dynamic cardiovascular surgical team
Participate in pre- and post-operative care, rounds, and patient management
Requirements:
PA license in Colorado or the ability to obtain one
Prior CV surgery or ICU experience preferred
Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced, surgical setting
