Looking for a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant in Dover, Delaware. The client is open to licensing. Looking for coverage 4 weekday shifts plus weeknight/weekend starting in January 2026 for 3 - 6 months.
Job Responsibilities
CVSICU Post op patient resuscitation, nursing and patient calls from home, weekend inpatient rounding, responding to stat consults/change in clinical status, emergent OR cases.
Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery, must be EVH capable. CVSICU, floor management, inpatient consults, outpatient office coverage
Patient Encounters - 10 - 20 Per Shift
Support - Surgeons, Fellow APCS, Nursing
EMR - Epic
Qualifications
BLS, ACLS
Open to license if not licensed in Delaware
Working Hours
Call Schedule - 1 - 2 weekday calls/week Mon - Thur 7P - 7A and 1 in 3 weekends - Fri 7P - Mon 7A.
