Cardiothoracic Surgery APC Locum – Nevada
Location: Reno, Nevada
Start Date: November 17th, 2025
Assignment Description:
A healthcare facility in Reno, Nevada is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) for a locum tenens assignment. The ideal candidate must be an experienced first assist with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Vein harvesting skills are a strong plus.
This locum will support a busy Cardiovascular and Thoracic (CVT) surgery service. Candidates must hold an active Nevada license and be available to start November, 2025.
Assignment Dates:
- November 17 – November 25, 2025
- December 15 – December 28, 2025
- 2026 dates will be available
Schedule:
- On-site approximately 8 hours per day
- Includes night and weekend call coverage

Candidate Requirements:
- Active Nevada State License (Required)
- Board Certification: Not required
- Minimum Experience: 2+ years in a Cardiothoracic setting
- COVID & Flu Vaccination: Required (Medical or Religious exemption accepted)
- Temporary privileges will be expedited
