Locums | Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery NP/PA | Billings, MT (MT license required)

Assignment Details
Dates: ASAP following credentialing; ongoing need with a requested 3–6-month commitment
Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours; daily hours not specified
Call: Beeper call, 1:5 ratio; at least one weekend per month
Call response: 20 minutes
Call activity: Approximately 2 phone consults and 2 patients seen; 15% callback
Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Volume: Approximately 10 patients per shift
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient; 30-bed department
Support: 5 RNs, 5 APPs, and 1 office staff member
No APP or resident supervision required
EMR: Cerner
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Clinical Details
Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery OR assisting
Hospital rounding on assigned patients
Clinic coverage as needed
Predominantly vascular clinic with some cardiothoracic postoperative follow-ups
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with relevant cardiothoracic and vascular surgery experience
Board/certification eligibility requirements to be confirmed
Active MT license
BLS
Active DEA
Availability for a 3–6-month commitment and at least one weekend call per month
