Assignment Details
Start: ASAP
Coverage listed as ongoing, with current need through the remainder of 2026
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, seven days per week
Day shift: 7 a.m.–7 p.m.
Night shift: 7 p.m.–7 a.m.
Coverage type: Regular inpatient clinical hours with no call
Volume: Approximately 10–15 patients on the service
Setting: Inpatient, Level I trauma facility
Epic
Approximately 5–7 days for credentialing
Temporary privileges available
Clinical Details
ICU rounding
Pre- and postoperative cardiac surgery management
Management of patients coming off ventilators
Postoperative open-heart, VATS, and lung surgery care
Operating-room experience preferred
Endoscopic vein-harvesting experience strongly preferred
Requirements
Certified Physician Assistant required
Active TX PA license required
ACLS and BLS required
Cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery experience required
