NP/PA Pulmonary/Critical Care Nocturnist opening in Davenport, IA - $7K Bonus
Located in Davenport, IA

Inpatient Pulmonary/Critical Care / ICU Nocturnist
Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Friday–Sunday, 10 PM–7 AM
Overview:
* Join an established Pulmonary/Critical Care team in a dedicated nocturnist role
* Provide overnight onsite coverage for critically ill patients in the ICU
* Consistent schedule of 3 overnight shifts per week, Friday through Sunday, 10 PM–7 AM
* High level of clinical autonomy with on-call Pulmonologist support available
* Manage ICU patients and provide cross-coverage throughout overnight shifts
* Respond to acute changes in patient condition, rapid responses and codes
* Perform procedures within scope of practice and hospital privileges, including central lines, arterial lines and intubations
* Collaborate with Pulmonologists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists and multidisciplinary care teams
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
* Provide comprehensive handoffs to daytime providers to maintain continuity of care
* Work within a physician-led medical group emphasizing collaboration, wellness and work-life balance
* Seeking Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
* Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program required
* Active Iowa license or eligibility for licensure required
* Minimum 1–2 years of ICU, Critical Care or Pulmonary experience preferred
* Strong procedural skills and ability to practice independently in a high-acuity environment preferred
