Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner opening in Kingman, AZ
Located in Kingman, AZ – Las Vegas, NV 105m

Seeking Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Overview:
* Join an outpatient Pulmonology team providing care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams and symptom reviews
* Order and interpret pulmonary function testing, imaging, laboratory studies and arterial blood gases
* Diagnose, treat and manage conditions including asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease and post-COVID respiratory issues
* Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
* Prescribe medications and therapies including bronchodilators, inhaled therapies and oxygen therapy
* Collaborate closely with Pulmonologists and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
* Provide patient and family education regarding disease management, medications, lifestyle modifications and smoking cessation
* Manage follow-up care, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
* Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EHR
* Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required
* National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner required
* Current and unrestricted Arizona Nurse Practitioner license required
* Current BLS certification required
* Previous Pulmonology or related clinical experience preferred
