Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Opening Lawrence, MA
Full Time | Behavioral Health
Seeking a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a Community Behavioral Health Center serving Lawrence and surrounding communities.
Position Highlights:
Provide urgent and scheduled psychiatric and substance use care
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Develop biopsychosocial treatment plans
Coordinate care across outpatient, crisis, and stabilization programs
Opportunity to provide MOUD and MAUD treatment
Collaborative multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, therapists, and crisis clinicians
Academic environment with opportunities to teach NP students, medical students, residents, and social work interns
Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives
Leadership and professional development opportunities
Schedule includes two evenings per week until 8:00 p.m. with occasional weekend coverage
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
Board Certified PMHNP
Active or eligible Massachusetts PMHNP license
Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance registrations
Three years of PMHNP experience preferred; outstanding new graduates encouraged to apply
Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred
