Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Opening Syracuse, NY
Full Time | PMHNP

Seeking a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide behavioral health services for older adults in post-acute care settings throughout the Syracuse, New York area.
Position Highlights:
Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
No nights, weekends, or call
Flexible round-and-go practice model
Remote documentation capabilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
Diagnose and manage psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
Provide brief therapeutic interventions and behavioral management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across skilled nursing and post-acute care facilities
Strong clinical and operational support with robust back-office infrastructure
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
Board Certified PMHNP-C
Active or eligible New York NP license
Active DEA or ability to obtain
Experience with geriatric psychiatry or post-acute care preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated compensation of $150,000-$200,000 annually
