A nonprofit healthcare organization in Hudson, New York is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established Psychiatry team. The department includes two Psychiatrists and three experienced psychiatric APPs and offers a unique opportunity to customize the position based on the provider’s clinical interests. Opportunities are available across outpatient, inpatient, consultation, collaborative care, and emergency psychiatry settings.

Practice Opportunities
Depending on the provider’s interests, responsibilities may include:
* Outpatient Psychiatry
* Inpatient Psychiatry
* Psychiatric consultation for medical floors
* Collaborative behavioral healthcare within outpatient medical centers
* Emergency Department psychiatric care
* Psychiatric evaluation and ongoing patient management
* Medication management
* Collaboration with Psychiatrists, APPs, physicians, and other members of the care team

Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
* Current national NP or PA certification
* Current or eligible New York licensure
* Psychiatry / Behavioral Health experience preferred
