Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - PMHNP - 10K Sign On Bonus

• Works collaboratively across disciplines, including physicians, therapists, and other health professionals, to deliver integrated behavioral healthcare

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Works at several locations, prioritized by patient volume — 2 days per week based in Hartsville, SC
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and manage mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the primary care provider, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing psychotherapy as appropriate
• Complete timely EMR documentation for each patient encounter
• Request, obtain, and evaluate screening test results
• Monitor treatment regimens in selected populations
• Confer with collaborating physician as needed
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and practice transformation initiatives
• Serve as an advocate and liaison to local hospitals and health organizations
• Functions under a collaborative practice agreement per South Carolina regulations

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, or Master's in Physician Assistant Sciences from an accredited program
• Licensed as an APRN or PA in South Carolina
• National certification (nurse practitioner certifying body, or NCCPA for PAs)
• PMHNP-BC certification preferred (or CAQ in Psychiatry from NCCPA for PAs)
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric NP/PA experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification required
