Critical Care Pediatric Physician Assistant – Corpus Christi, TX
Support specialized pediatric critical care in a collaborative, round-the-clock environment with a consistent day-shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. - Provide specialized pediatric critical care support in a critical care setting.
- Participate in collaborative care with physicians and nurses.
- Support round-the-clock monitoring of pediatric patients before and after operations.
- Contribute to coordinated preoperative and postoperative patient care.
- Work scheduled 12-hour day shifts as part of the critical care team.
- Participate in call coverage as required by the assignment.
Required
- Active, unencumbered physician assistant license in Texas.
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
- CICU experience.
- Master’s or post-master’s degree.
- Willingness to commit to at least a six-month contract.
- Applicable advanced practice certification, including one or more of the following:
- Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified (FNP-BC)
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified (NNP-BC)
- Certified Pediatric Physician Assistant–Primary Care (CPNP-PC)
- Certified Pediatric Physician Assistant–Acute Care (CPNP-AC)
Preferred
- 2–3 years of pediatric critical care experience.
- Advanced specialty coursework applicable to the assignment.
