Opportunity

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a pediatric locum tenens opportunity in Tulare, CA. Provide outpatient care to infants, children, and adolescents in a collaborative community health setting. Applicants must have at least one year of experience as an NP or PA.

Schedule and assignment

• Clinic schedule, patient volume, and assignment duration to be confirmed for the selected opening.

Responsibilities

• Perform well-child visits, age-appropriate screenings, immunization reviews, and acute and chronic pediatric care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, develop treatment plans, and coordinate referrals and follow-up care within the provider’s scope of practice.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support coordinated, patient-centered care and patient and family education.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of NP or PA experience; new graduates are not eligible.
• Active California NP or PA licensure and credentials appropriate to the role and patient population; prescribing credentials as applicable.
• Ability to provide pediatric care within training, certification, and scope of practice.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills; commitment to caring for diverse and underserved communities.

This Tulare pediatric opening may be filled by a qualified NP, PA, or Pediatrician.
