Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a dedicated and caring Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist in the inpatient care of newborns at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital. The Advanced Practitioner will provide medical management of newborns, and partner with the multidisciplinary team on the management of newborns on the Women's and Children’s floor of Guthrie Lourdes Hospital.

Highlights of the Opportunity

  • Coordinate medical management of newborns as part of a multidisciplinary team, including family medicine residents and providers, OB/GYN providers, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff
  • Partner with nursing staff leadership and nurse educators to promote ongoing training to support competencies needed for the management of newborns.
  • Work within a team of dedicated Pediatric Advance Providers and collaborate with Guthrie Lourdes Pediatricians.
  • Ongoing professional and clinical training available

Candidate Requirements

  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) preferred, but Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) and Physician Assistants will be considered.
  • Experience in primary care or pediatrics setting preferred.

Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range starting at $115,000 - $135,000 depending on experience
  • Paid Call coverage shared equally with other APPs in the Practice.
  • CME $2500 for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies.

  • 403B and 457B retirements options; HSA option available.
  • Reimbursement for licensure fees, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and renewals
