Job description <span id="HRS_SCH_PSTDSC_DESCRLONG$1"> <p>Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care II or Physician Assistant Specialty Care II to join our team in providing specialized care for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. This position is dual posted with Job ID <a name="H#H#DI19" id="H#H#DI19">58349 </a>and 3 total positions will be filled.</p><p>Job duties:</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions and developmental disorders.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with parents and caregivers<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Educate families about child development and health maintenance.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide counseling on behavioral issues and developmental challenges.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct thorough physical and developmental assessments for children.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Evaluate growth patterns and developmental milestones.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient encounters.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor and document progress in developmental assessments.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Share clinical documentation for review by collaborating physician.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work closely with pediatricians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain open communication with the collaborating physician for patient care.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Refer patients to specialists as needed.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Advocate for children’s health and development within the community and healthcare settings.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in community outreach and education programs.</p><p>The Thompson Center is a multi-disciplinary center with 15 different clinical subspecialties and is integrated fully with the academic training and research missions. &nbsp;The Thompson Center is growing and currently planning for a new, state-of-the art facility along with expanded clinical programming. &nbsp;</p></span>
