A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for a great School-based position with their team in the Bronx.
Responsibilities:
The School-based NP / PA will:
- Coordinate and implement the practice of the school-based health program
- Provide comprehensive healthcare and referral services to students and supports parents/guardians in caring for their children
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by Management
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) program
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Completion Internship and Residency Training from an approved medical facility- Pediatrics or Family Practice
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics or Family Practice
- CPR/BLS certification
- Infection Control certification
- DEA certification
- Medicaid
