JOB DESCRIPTION:
Excellent opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join one of the busiest Pediatric EDs in the state of beautiful North Carolina. Previous experience in pediatrics, emergency medicine, or pediatric emergency medicine is a plus. We offer Top Tier Compensation and generous, extensive benefits.
The Pediatric Emergency has approximately 40,000 visits per year and has seen substantial growth since opening over 10 years ago. They have 15 private-rooms to support the sustained growth. The Children's Emergency Department serves as the pediatric base for the county EMS system and provides trauma services to the area.
HOSPITAL:
Well-established and well-respected healthcare system. Numerous residency programs, including Internal Med, Emergency Med, OBGYN, Psych, Cardiology, Ortho, and more. One of the busiest EDs in the country with a dedicated Pediatric ED.
Level III Trauma Center. Level III NICU. Robust Hospitalist service. State of the art facility and comprehensive programs. Many academic opportunities, if desired.
