- Start: September/October (ASAP once credentialed)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks with option to extend
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- 5x12-hour shifts
- No call
- Facility may consider 2 providers splitting the schedule
Practice Details:
- Inpatient General Pediatrics
- Primary focus on Pediatric Pulmonology and Neurology
- Cases include asthma/exacerbations, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, seizure disorders, and medical management of trauma patients
- Average daily census: 15+ patients
- No NICU, PICU, newborn nursery, or delivery coverage
- No circumcisions required
- Collaborative support from Pediatric Hospitalists, Pulmonologists, and Neurologists
- EMR: Epic
- Initial onboarding with Lead PICU APP
- May float to nearby Bay Park, Flower, and Wildwood facilities
Requirements:
- Pediatric Acute Care NP or Physician Assistant
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- PALS required; NRP not required
- Ohio license preferred; licensing may be considered for the right candidate
- DEA preferred
