Our client, a 122-bed pediatric skilled care facility is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing team of pediatricians and subspecialty providers in the care and treatment of children and young adults with complex medical illnesses.
Job Responsibilities
-Perform clinical assessments of children for acute illness or change in status.
-Order medications and ensure proper administration.
-Provide emergency services for residents as needed.
-Address abnormal laboratory results and document assessment and plans.
-Order and arrange transfer of residents to acute care facilities as indicated, including provision of written consultation and telephone call to receiving ED.
