Exclusive locum opportunity for a Pathology Assistant in Georgetown, SC, offering ongoing coverage from September 2025 through March 2026 (with continued needs into 2026). High-volume assignment with consistent weekday shifts and additional extended hours. Ideal for candidates with strong grossing experience, especially large specimens. Priority coverage needed Dec 21 – Jan 5.
Job Responsibilities
• Ensure timely completion of daily pathology caseload
• Assist pathologists with specimen preparation and workflow
• Maintain accurate lab documentation and reporting
• Support extended shift coverage as needed
Qualifications
• Strong grossing experience (large specimens required)
• Pathology Assistant or PA with pathology experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab setting
Working Hours
• Additional Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM (select dates)
• Key Coverage: December 21, 2025 – January 5, 2026
• No call required
