Pain Management Physician Assistant Locum Opportunity – South Carolina

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants for a full-time outpatient Pain Management locum opportunity in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, beginning November 2026. This is an ongoing assignment providing a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule with no call, supporting the practice.

Assignment Details

• Full-time coverage

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday
• 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• No call
• No telehealth

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Pain Management
• No Trauma designation
• Epic EMR
• Epic experience required

Patient Volume

• Approximately 18–20 patients per day
• Mix of new patient evaluations and follow-up visits

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient Pain Management care
• Evaluate new patients and conduct follow-up visits
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Update existing treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Provide medication management in accordance with established protocols and applicable regulations
• Accurately document assessments, treatment decisions, and care plans
• Coordinate patient care with the clinical team
• Communicate with patients, RNs, and the supervising physician

Support Staff

• Experienced clinical support staff
• Registered Nurses
• Supervising physician
• Physician onsite approximately 3 days per week for collaboration, consultation, and clinical support

Requirements

• Physician Assistant
• Active South Carolina PA license required
• Active South Carolina DHEC registration required

Ideal Candidate

An experienced Physician Assistant with an active South Carolina license and DHEC registration who is comfortable managing a busy outpatient Pain Management schedule while collaborating with an experienced clinical team and supervising physician. This opportunity offers a consistent four-day workweek, no call, and ongoing full-time coverage.
