The organization's physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) work collaboratively to develop individualized treatment plans designed to restore function, improve quality of life, and help patients return to the activities that matter most.

Client Institute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its growing South San Antonio team.
The APP will work collaboratively with physicians, other APPs, and clinical staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving pain management and spine-related services.
This position is ideal for an APP who wants to build meaningful patient relationships, contribute to a collaborative clinical environment, and develop or expand their experience in interventional pain management.

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients within the scope of practice.
Evaluate patients and obtain comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations.
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and self-management strategies.
Promote functional improvement and improved quality of life through patient-centered care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, APPs, and clinical staff.
Participate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team.
Follow applicable clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Maintain a compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach to care.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who:
Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Values collaborative and team-based care.
Has excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
Is committed to compassionate, patient-centered healthcare.
Is interested in developing or expanding expertise in interventional pain management.
Is motivated to grow professionally within an expanding healthcare organization.
Preferred Clinical Background:
Experience in any of the following areas is beneficial:
Pain Management
Interventional Pain
Orthopedics
Spine Care
Neurology
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Sports Medicine
Related Musculoskeletal or Specialty Care:
Providers with experience in other clinical specialties who are interested in transitioning into pain management are also encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license, or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current national board certification, as applicable.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong patient education and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other clinical staff.
