Job description Physician Assistant – Pain Management

Location: Killeen, Texas, United States

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our pain management team. The PA will provide high-quality patient care, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical exams and assess patient conditions.
  • Record and review patient medical histories and symptoms.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely.
  • Educate patients and families on pain management strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active PA license in Texas.
  • Prior experience in pain management preferred but not required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.

Physical Demands
