Job description

Job description • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Pain Management team in a dynamic outpatient clinical setting.
• The PA will work closely with physicians to evaluate and treat patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.
• The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing both spine-related pain and joint-related conditions while delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Provide treatment for spine-related disorders as well as joint pain conditions
• Develop and implement individualized pain management treatment plans
• Assist physicians with pain management procedures and patient care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging and laboratory studies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients on pain management strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active or eligible state license as a Physician Assistant
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine care, or related field preferred
• Must be willing and comfortable treating both spine and joint conditions
• DEA certification or eligibility

Working Hours

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday – Friday outpatient clinic schedule
• Supportive clinical team and collaborative work environment

Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of pain management techniques and treatments
• Ability to manage spine and joint-related pain conditions
• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
