*Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Spine Center & Inpatient Pain Management opening in Boston, Massachusetts - 10 miles from Boston Details:
- This position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
- We are seeking to recruit a Nurse Practitioner to join a spine and pain services
- This is a full-time employed clinical position with a split role between our outpatient Physiatry led Spine Center and our inpatient peri-operative pain service.
- Outpatient: - In the outpatient setting, the NP will work closely with physiatrists and physical therapists within a function-first spine care model that emphasizes careful diagnosis, rehabilitation-based treatment pathways, and longitudinal patient management. - Responsibilities include patient evaluation, follow-up care, care coordination, and support of interventional spine and pain services.
- Inpatient: - In the inpatient setting, the NP will be an integral member of the peri-operative pain service, collaborating with anesthesiology, nursing, and surgical teams to support post-operative pain management for complex orthopedic patients. - This role offers meaningful exposure to acute pain management within a high-volume orthopedic hospital environment.
- This position reflects program growth and expanding clinical demand.

- The role is well suited for NPs who value collaborative practice, continuity across care settings, and participation in a structured, team-based model of spine and pain care.
- Prior experience in musculoskeletal, spine, pain, or peri-operative care is preferred, though motivated candidates with strong clinical foundations and interest in spine and pain medicine are encouraged to apply.
- To provide direct patient care and clinical assessment of Orthopedic patients.
- Works in close cooperation with the Orthopedic Surgeons in the Department.
- Acts as liaison for nursing and ancillary health professionals.
