We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Physician Assistant with post-training pain management experience to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is a full-time, outpatient opportunity.
Candidates must have experience treating spine and joint conditions. Bilingual Spanish is preferred, but not required. H1B visa sponsorship is available.

Job Summary
The Physician Assistant will work closely with pain management physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate is experienced in spine and joint care and comfortable managing interventional and non-interventional treatment plans in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities

Evaluate patients with spine and joint-related pain conditions

Obtain detailed medical histories and perform focused musculoskeletal exams

Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under physician supervision

Manage medication regimens and monitor patient response

Prepare and consent patients for interventional procedures

Assist with triage of new patient referrals

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate

Provide patient education regarding pain management strategies

Document all encounters accurately in the EMR

Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
-
Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
-
Active New York State PA license (or ability to obtain)

Current NCCPA certification
-
Active DEA and New York Controlled Substance registration
-
Minimum of one year post-training pain management experience required
-
Experience managing spine and joint conditions required
-
BLS required; ACLS preferred

EMR experience preferred

Bilingual Spanish is a plus
