Job description
Orthopedic Specialty Group seeks to add a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will be 100% clinic focused. The Physician Assistant will run their own orthopedic clinic which will consist of new and follow-up patients. This will be a mix of general Orthopedic cases that are both acute and chronic injuries.
Responsibilities include: running a clinic, fracture care, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified with preferences for some experience but will train. The position also offers a great work/life balance with no call/evening/weekends and a 40-hour work week.
The location is in Hickory NC. There is a competitive compensation package which includes a production bonus plan, healthcare, dental, vision, 401K, etc.
