Physician Assistant - PA - Orthopedic Surgery

SSM Health Dean Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join its highly skilled Orthopedic Surgery team in Janesville. This is a dynamic role that offers the ability to collaborate with an established and supportive team of fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons, a non-operative sports medicine physician, two other physician assistants, and clinical team.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Clinical focused position seeing both new, follow-up and post-op patients with some inpatient rounding.
• Anticipated schedule Monday-Friday with 35 patient contact hours weekly.
• No nights/weekends/holidays/call.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.
• Certified PA.
• Ability to obtain PA licensure in Wisconsin and Wisconsin DEA licensure.
• BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Prior orthopedic surgery experience is strongly preferred but will consider new graduates who have had orthopedic surgery rotations.

Practice Environment:

• Janesville East Clinic: ~50 physicians across multiple specialties
• SSM Health St. Marys Janesville Hospital:
  • Modern 50-bed facility opened in 2012
  • Adjacent physician office building for seamless patient care
  • Full-service hospital including ICU, ER, and Urgent Care
  • Epic EMR system integrated across the network
