Join a well-established, friendly orthopedic practice in the Chicago suburbs as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant supporting increasing clinical volume across two locations.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time opportunity across two practice locations
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with one weekend a month which would include a half day clinic 12-4 on Saturday after rounds at the hospital and then rounding Sunday if needed
- Collaborate closely with Orthopedic Surgeons specializing in spine, shoulder, and total joint surgery
- First assist in spine, shoulder, and total joint procedures
- Perform patient evaluations, H&Ps, and review lab results
- Manage pre- and post-operative care and follow-up visits
- Provide casting, consultations, and patient education
- Round in local hospitals
- Attend local sporting events as needed
- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative practice environment
Qualifications:
- NCCA certified or eligible
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $90K–$125K+, based on experience
- Higher compensation may be available for candidates with extensive orthopedic experience
