Job description
Healthcare System seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will be focused in the hospital. The Physician Assistant will provide orthopedic emergency department consults, pre and post support, and in-patient management (rounding). Responsibilities include ED consults, fracture management, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections and reviewing lab results in a hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistant candidates must be NCCPA-Certified and have an orthopedic rotation. The position also offers a great work/life balance with three 12-hour shifts (36 hours total) (7:00 am to 7:00 pm).
The location is near the Boone area in NC. There is a competitive compensation package (25 PTO days, pension, healthcare, CME of $6k, dental, vision and includes a bonus program (plus sign-on of $22k). Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.
