Locum tenens opportunity for an experienced Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Please see the details below for your review.
Position Highlights:
- Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery (combination of Hand, Joints, and Sports Medicine patients)
- Provider Type: NP or PA
- Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No Call
- Start Date: August 5, 2026
- Assignment End Date: October 31, 2026
- EMR: Epic
- Average Patient Volume: Approximately 21 patients per day
- One provider needed
- Supplemental locum coverage
Clinic Locations:
- Tucker, GA
- Atlanta, GA
- Sandy Springs, GA
- Duluth, GA
- Jonesboro, GA
Requirements:
- Local candidates only
- Active Georgia license required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- BLS certification required
- Orthopedic Surgery experience with Hand, Joint, and Sports Medicine patients preferred
- No hospital or surgery center privileges required
Additional Information:
- Outpatient-only practice
- No admissions
- No rounding
- No supervision of APPs
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 21 days
- Travel and licensing reimbursement are not available
