Job description
Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will include both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a very busy practice. This doctor’s specialty includes hip and knee replacements including revisions. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and should have some orthopedic experience or be recent graduates with an orthopedic rotation (prefers total joints).
