Job description
Well-established Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add another Orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position is a combination of the office and the OR. The group has a state-of-the-art facility with EMR, MRI, PT, Digital X-ray and ASC. The Physician Assistant would run their own orthopedic clinic. Very busy case load of total hips and knees including complex revisions. Some orthopedic experience is required.
Responsibilities include: H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, hospital rounds and some call (paid extra) within a clinic and hospital setting. The location is in an upscale suburb of Phoenix. The Physician Assistant will enjoy year-round outdoor living, solid schools and all the amenities of a great city.
