Job description
Orthopedic Specialty Group seeks to add a full-time experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will be 100% clinic focused. The Physician Assistant will run their own orthopedic clinic which will consist of new and follow-up patients. This will be a mix of general Orthopedic cases that are both acute and chronic injuries.
Responsibilities include, running a clinic, fracture care, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and have direct Orthopedic experience. The position also offers a great work/life balance with no call/evening/weekends and a 40-hour work week.
The location is near the Boone area in NC. There is a competitive compensation package (29 PTO days, pension, healthcare, dental, vision, including a bonus program (plus sign-on). Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.
