Facility:
This 300-bed Level I trauma facility provides comprehensive medical services to the Colorado Springs community. The orthopedic department features a collaborative team environment with advanced surgical capabilities and excellent support systems for healthcare providers.
Opportunity:
Physician Assistant (PA) - Orthopedics
Job Details:
• Monday-Friday shifts from 7am-5pm for specific weeks in February and March 2026 (Feb 9-13, Feb 16-20, Feb 23-27, Mar 9-13)
•Provide orthopedic support services including consultations, patient rounding, history and physicals
• First assist duties as needed to support the orthopedic surgeon on call
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Utilize Epic electronic medical record system
• Required certifications: AANP or ANCC and/or NCCPA certification, active CO License or Compact RN license
• Active DEA license required for credentialing
• Active BLS certification highly preferred (must obtain prior to start)
• Must complete required Epic EMR training modules and virtual training before start date
• Clean malpractice/background history required
• Preference given to providers with first assist experience/certification (not required)
• Must be willing to travel to Colorado Springs for assignment
• 60-90 day standard credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
