Job description
Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will be focused in the clinic with some OR (first assisting). The Physician Assistant will support a Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a very busy practice. This doctor’s specialty includes hips and knees replacements and revisions as well as fractures. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and have direct orthopedic experience. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no evenings or weekends.
