Providing a full team of hospitalists, oncologists, surgeons, and other clinicians, patients are surrounded by a dedicated team of highly trained professionals. CTCA specializes in the care of adult cancer patients and has received a number of awards and accolades including the highest possible ranking for lung cancer surgery in 2019 - 2021.

Requirements of Advanced Practitioners

This is the key to engagement. We optimize workloads effectively, reducing inefficiencies, and consistently exceeding expectations through service excellence to our clinicians.

  • Work alongside a physician each day in providing and managing the care of oncology patients
  • See an average of 15-18 patients per day
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Complete admissions from ED
  • Perform dictation of H&P examinations
  • Cross cover for the hospitalist team
  • Perform such other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the chief hospitalist and within NP/PA scope of practice
  • Current, unrestricted license in Illinois (ANCC, NCCPA, AANP); Experience with highly acute, oncology patients required
