We are seeking a full time Oncology Physician Assistant to join an established oncology care team in Bethesda, MD.
This position primarily supports outpatient oncology care, with the opportunity to split time between the clinic & hospital rounding. Prior oncology experience is strongly preferred, while outpatient & hospitalist experience are also desirable.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients & assist with diagnosis and treatment planning
• Manage ongoing patient care & follow up
• Provide outpatient oncology services
• Participate in hospital rounding as needed
• Collaborate with physicians & multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor patient progress & clinical status
• Provide patient education & support
• Maintain accurate & timely clinical documentation
• Follow established clinical protocols & standards of care
Qualifications
• Prior oncology experience strongly preferred
• Prior outpatient experience preferred
• Hospitalist experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment & patient management skills
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills
Working Hours
