Facility in Rockport, ME seeking Oncology APP locums coverage

Rates: $150/hr

A hospital-affiliated cancer program is seeking a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with Hematology/Oncology experience for locum tenens coverage beginning in June 2026. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule within a supportive oncology care team.

Position Details

Schedule

4 x 10-hour shifts per week

Preferred schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

No weekends and No call coverage

Patient Volume

Average 8–12 patients per day

Patient population: Adult

Practice Environment

Provider team includes 2 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers

Locum provider will work at one site only

No resident coverage currently

Support services available include:

Nursing staff

Infusion therapy services

Pharmacy support

Requirements

Board Certified Acute Care FNP or Board Certified Physician Assistant – required

Active Maine medical license – required

Hematology/Oncology experience – required

Epic EMR experience – required

NPDB self-query (within the last 30–90 days) – required at presentation
