About the Opportunity
A growing mobile healthcare organization is hiring a Physician Assistant to deliver onsite occupational-health and preventive medical examinations to firefighters and other public-safety professionals.
This position is ideal for a PA who enjoys hands-on patient care, varied work environments, preventive medicine, and extensive interstate travel.
Job Responsibilities
Perform occupational-health and preventive-health evaluations.
Review laboratory findings and screening results.
Provide patient education and appropriate follow-up recommendations.
Document clinical findings and complete required reports.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical support personnel.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at every assignment.
Qualifications
Current NCCPA certification and required state credentials.
Ability to meet credentialing requirements in multiple states.
Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Interest in occupational health and preventive care.
Willingness to travel frequently and stay overnight away from home.
Experience in occupational medicine, primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine is beneficial but not required. Qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Travel Support
$65 per hour
Travel, lodging, and meals covered according to company policy.
Approved travel expenses reimbursed.
Training and clinical support available.
The role involves frequent travel across multiple states, potentially for several consecutive days per assignment. This is not a traditional local clinic position.
