Physician Assistant in Port Arthur, TX

Clinical Collaboration & Compliance:
Provide clinical guidance and support to certified medical staff.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Respond to urgent patient care needs and after-hours calls as required.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, client, and company healthcare regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and new clinic programs.
Maintain required continuing medical education (CME) and professional certifications.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
Active, unrestricted licenses in:
Texas
Louisiana
Active DEA registration.
Active Texas DPS controlled substance registration with no prescribing restrictions.
No current investigations or disciplinary actions by the Texas Medical Board.
Strong experience performing minor surgical and office-based procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Ability to adapt to changing clinical environments and operational procedures.
Commitment to maintaining all required CME and professional credentials.

Work Environment:
Primarily based in a clinical office setting.
Occasional travel to client locations.

Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Regional Medical Director.
This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.
