Located in Oxford, NC – approximately 30 miles north of Durham and 40 miles north of Raleigh

Certified Nurse Midwife
A community-based health system in Oxford, North Carolina is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. This position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope midwifery within a 62-bed rural hospital while providing care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and the reproductive lifespan. The incoming CNM will join a supportive environment focused on accessible, patient-centered women's health services.
Position Highlights
* Full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife opportunity
* Provide prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care
* Care for and support low-risk laboring patients throughout childbirth
* New obstetric visits and ongoing pregnancy management
* Fetal heart rate assessment and NST interpretation
* Labor assessment and cervical examinations
* Routine well-woman exams and Pap smears
* Family planning and reproductive health counseling
* STI screening and treatment
* Menopause and perimenopause management
* Evaluation of pelvic pain and postmenopausal bleeding
* Postoperative follow-up and problem visits
* Continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications
* AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
* Graduate of an ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery program
* Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
* Active and unrestricted RN license
* Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain
* CPR and NALS certification
* At least one year of full-time CNM experience preferred
* Labor & Delivery experience preferred
