100% Outpatient
Seeking WHNP or FNP with Women’s Health Experience
Overview:
* Join an established outpatient Women’s Health Clinic
* Provide comprehensive women’s healthcare for adolescent and adult patients
* Perform annual well-woman exams and age-appropriate preventive screenings
* Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
* Provide contraception counseling and family planning services
* Provide prenatal care and monitoring for low-risk pregnancies
* Conduct postpartum examinations and ongoing maternal care
* Order, perform and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
* Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within scope of practice
* Perform approved outpatient women’s health procedures
* Educate patients regarding reproductive health, pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery and disease prevention
* Collaborate with physicians and specialists for coordinated patient care and referrals
* Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
* Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required
* Current Arizona APRN license required
* WHNP-BC preferred; FNP candidates with Women’s Health experience may also be considered
* Current DEA registration or ability to obtain required
* Current BLS certification required
* Women’s Health, Gynecology, Obstetrics or related experience preferred
